If you have never experienced Perth, then we have a surprise for you.
A city perched on the beautiful Swan River, Perth has gone through a golden era in recent years as a direct result of Australia's resources boom.
Here's your chance to watch the sun go down in the west; to spot a Black Swan on the shores of the river; to visit historic Fremantle or take a day trip to re-live Australia's convict past on Rottnest Island.
Make sure you leave enough time for the Transplant Games. Remember, that's why you are coming here in the first place.
We have organised a superb week of sporting and social activities. Highlights include the Opening Ceremony in the Perth Concert Hall and parade down Perth's main streets.
