Northbridge
The area bordered by William, James, Aberdeen and Parker Streets is where you'll find restaurants offering every cuisine imaginable, as well as pubs, bars and clubs. On weekends the streets are full of revellers. Museums and art galleries are located in this precinct.
Perth CBD
The west end of the central city area, along Hay, Murray and King Street offers a wide range of options for visitors to Perth. There are many relaxed cafes and pubs, as well as restaurants, boutiques and malls.
Subiaco
Rokeby Road and Hay Street are where you'll find a feast of restaurants and trendy boutiques. Subiaco is perhaps best known for its quality restaurants there is a wide choice - from fine dining to take away, Italian to Asian. Subiaco is easily accessible by train and offers a great atmosphere for visitors to enjoy.
Fremantle
The city is well known for its big variety of Italian and fish restaurants, thanks mostly to its cultural heritage as a fishing port. Pasta, pizza and fish 'n' chips are the local fare, but you can also find quality seafood outlets at Fishing Boat Harbour and along South Terrace. Grab a lattè and spend time people-watching like the locals do.
Mt Lawley
Beaufort Street is one of the most popular and diverse places in Perth. There are some of Perth's best restaurants, cafes and boutiques located along the strip.
Leederville
Oxford Street is always busy in the evenings. Full of after-work professionals, families and students, the crowd is diverse. Many outlets are cafè style with Mediterranean food, but you can also find Asian and fish restaurants, pizza parlours and kebab take-aways.
Claremont
The area around Bay View Terrace is the place to shop in Perth, with upmarket boutiques, shops and salons. There are some great restaurants and cafes to check out – and the Claremont Hotel is the place to enjoy a drink and do some people watching.
Cottesloe
For a beachside dining experience check out Marine Tce, while Napoleon Streets is home to stylish eateries, tea rooms and plenty of shopping. Enjoy fish and chips on Cottesloe Beach while enjoying the famous West Australian sunset.
