LORD MAYOR WELCOMES GAMES TO NEWCASTLE

The Lord Mayor of Newcastle, Councillor John Tait, has officially welcomed the 13th Australian Transplant Games to Newcastle. To a packed room the Mayor spoke of his thrill about promoting organ and tissue donation to the public of Newcastle. Other speakers included local recipient, Alison Brown, who interviewed some of the official 'faces' of the games, Transplant Australia Chairman, Dr Alan Amodeo and CEO Chris Thomas.
