The Games will be hosted by Transplant Australia.
To be eligible to compete in the Australian Transplant Games transplant participants must be among the following situations:
Tissue donors are also eligible to compete in The Australian Transplant Games alongside solid organ donors as both lead to improving the quality of life and/or saving the lives of Australians.
The Games will be held between Tuesday 1 October to Sunday 6 October 2024
Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Cycling, Darts, Pétanque, 5k Road Race, Sprint Triathlon, Swimming, Golf, Table Tennis, Tennis, Ten Pin Bowling, Volleyball, 7-a-side Football, Lawn Bowls, Suduko, Chess, Backgammon and Scrabble.
The Games have two objectives: to promote organ donation and encourage more people around Australia to register and support donation; and to help recipients improve their health and fitness around their transplanted organ.
The Games have been held all around Australia. The Games were due to be held in Launceston in 2020 but were cancelled due to COVID.

Australia’s most inspirational sporting event, the Australian Transplant Games is held every two years. The Games provide living proof of the success of transplantation and encourage all Australians to discuss organ and tissue donation with their families.
