Registration Info
How to Register
The 2008 Games will be the first to offer an easy to use online registration process (active end of April 2008).
It is strongly recommended that as many people take up this option as it eliminates any administrative errors. You will be provided with an 'itinerary' at the end of the process.
All people attending the Games as a competitor, living donor, donor family or a supporter need to complete a separate registration application although families can complete a joint registration form. Participants will need to attach individual medical certificates.
Registration application forms are available from Transplant Australia for those who do not have internet access.
Athletes and competing supporters MUST complete and return the
medical certificate [40kb] in August 2008 and return to Transplant Australia by Friday 29th August.
Everyone who registers MUST complete and return the
Waiver and Release Form [28kb] and returned to Transplant Australia by Friday 29th August.
Registration Dates
Registrations will open on April 2008.
Registration will close on Friday 22 August 2008.
Early registration
If you register before Friday 31 May, you will receive a complimentary hat and badge.

You can pay by credit card or cheque. If paying by cheque please make it payable to, Transplant Australia and send it to;

Paying by cheque
Please note – for your online registration to be accepted you MUST send you cheque within 2 weeks otherwise your registration will NOT be valid.
Paying by Instalments
If you prefer you are able to pay your total amount in three instalments. These would be processed on registration day, July 31 and August 29. Please note – this option is only available if paying by credit card.
Cancellation Policy
Up to 30 days prior to your arrival you can cancel your booking and receive a full refund, less a 10% administration fee.
We reserve the right to charge a full cancellation fee for bookings cancelled within the 29 days prior to the commencement of the games.
As with any travel, we highly recommend that you take out travel insurance.
State Team Managers
As you will be competing for your home State, after registration you will be contacted by your State manager.

- Athletes (Recipients/Cystic Fibrosis/Dialysis Patients) - $110.00
- Donor Family/Living Donor/Games Supporter – Competing $50.00*
- Donor Family/Living Donor/Games Supporter - $20.00
- Juniors - Competitor/Donor Family/Living Donor/Games Supporter (17 and under) - NIL
*Supporters playing golf will need to pay a supplement of $50.00
Each registrant will be given an accreditation tag, Games t-shirt and bag as well as registration material.

QUEST ASCOT VILLAGE
Studio Queen Room $129.00 per room per night (1-2 people)
Studios have a kitchenette (with a stove top and microwave).
2 Bedroom Apartment $258.00 per apartment per night (4 people)
Room Features: Fully equipped kitchen, full size stove, dishwasher, microwave and laundry, iron & ironing board, hair dryer and reverse-cycle air-conditioning, full size stove and dishwasher.
ASSURED ASCOT QUAYS APARTMENTS HOTEL
2 Bedroom Apartment $292.00 per apartment per night (4 people)

Please note - Prices are subject to change
All hotels are in close proximity to most sporting events and the Belmont Sports and Recreation Club, which serves as the games 'hub'.
Transport will be provided to and from hotels to all sporting events.
The OzAccom Group will be managing the accommodation. Application for accommodation commences when registration opens.

Meals and Special Events
Participants are to make their own arrangements for Breakfast and Lunch.
There are canteens at most venues for lunch and snack purchases. Full details will be provided to you upon arrival.
Evening meals are an optional extra.
Dinner is available each night of the Games (except for Opening and Gala) at the Belmont Sports and Recreation Centre on the 4th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th October.
